Pro - Scot Driving Instructor Training Never Knowingly Beaten On Price Or Service...

ORDIT APPROVED

Driving Instructor Training

The reality is that training to become a driving instructor requires hard work and commitment, many companies offer "glossy marketing" to win you over and convince you that this is the career for you. But is this the correct career choice for you? We receive phone calls every week from PDI's who fell for the professional sales pitch given by some companies and were left bitterly disappointed after receiving poor training and virtually no support.

Our ORDIT training school was set up to specifically train quality driving instructors for our industry. We give 100% effort to supplying you with the best training, and support around. We will only agree to train you if we feel you have the correct credentials to be an instructor (not simply because you have the money!). We encourage you to take an assessment with us which covers presentation, driving, and instructional skills. We hope that after training and qualifying with us, you may wish to join the Pro - Scot team, however you are also free to join another franchise or go it alone as an independent instructor.

We can offer you a guaranteed position with Pro - Scot in your area once you have qualified with us.

Nothing To Hide!

Ok so we do have an excellent pass rate, we provide our instructors with a quality franchise with full support. Unlike most training organisations we encourage anyone considering training to become a driving instructor with us to speak to our driving instructor students (PDI's) who have are either currently training with us, or have trained with us. We also encourage you to speak with our Pro - Scot driving instructors. We have nothing to hide and you have everything to gain, making the wrong choice for your training to become a driving instructor and joining the wrong franchise can be very costly!

Why Pro - Scot?

Become an approved driving instructor with one-to-one ORDIT instruction from Pro-Scot, either through our Intensive Training Course (ITC) or pay as you go with Hourly Lessons (usually done in 2 or 4 hour blocks).

As you can see our prices are very competitive especially for 1:1 ORDIT training with such high quality trainers. We have no hidden extras and will not subject you to large class sizes with 2:1 or 3:1 in car ratios.  Under ORDIT up to 50% of your training can be classroom based producing "lesson plans" etc, we believe this should be done at home in your own time, and you should not be paying for the privilege, Pro - Scot also believe 1:1 in car training will provide you with the highest levels of training and development you can get.

The large heavily advertised corporate instructor training organisations don't do bespoke training, it's all about making money. In some cases as many as 10:1 ratio in a classroom for 50% of your training with one trainer, and 2:1 or even 3:1 in car ratios, this is of course very lucrative with course fees as high as £3500 or more. Pass rates are known to be as low as 10% on these courses. Unfortunately the unwary sign up, taken in by the hype and glossy marketing.

Quite simply Pro - Scot offer the highest quality training at the most competitive prices.

Please note we can advise you on appropriate books and additional reading material as and when they are required for Part 2 & Part 3. Part I is not expensive, you should not be paying lots of money for it as it is done in your time. A comprehensive theory study pack for Part I, II & III is available for £150.

Should you require any additional hours of training under our ITC Course core hours of 12 hours for Part II and 40 hours for Part III these can simply be booked at the standard hourly rate.

We advise that you carry out full research before committing to any organisation, remember all our training hours are carried out 1:1 in car with highly qualified ORDIT approved Trainers.

Assessment & Training (Optional)

We recommend an assessment to determine your suitability to become an instructor before committing to the cost of training. This covers presentation, driving and instructional skills and lasts approx 2 hours. Don't worry if you have never done presenting or instructing before, guidance and training will also be given during the assessment to assess your ability to learn new skills. The assessment also gives you an opportunity to assess your trainer! A drive round the block, and being told you could drive and talk is hardly an assessment of your potential to become a driving instructor! The assessment and training costs £35.

Information Evening

We also run information evenings every Wednesday 6 - 8pm. This is a great way of meeting up with others considering becoming driving instructors, you are encouraged to ask questions and will find out more about training to become a driving instructor with Pro - Scot and what options are available to you once qualified. There is absolutely no pressure placed on you to sign up for training with us, the atmosphere is completely relaxed and informal.

Please contact us directly to book your place.
