Learn to drive in an automatic car

An automatic car has an automatic gearbox that changes the gears for you and only two foot pedals, the accelerator (gas) and footbrake, which are operated with the right foot.

Automatics, by making the physical job of driving much easier, give you more time to concentrate on what's happening on the road.

With Pro-Scot you'll benefit from individual driving tuition, all our lessons are on a one to one basis and you'll be taught by a fully qualified and DSA approved driving instructor. You'll receive structured tuition following a logical sequence according to the DSA syllabus.

Remember though: if you take your driving test in an automatic car, you may only drive an automatic after you pass your test.
