CBT + Theory Test + Module 1 (500cc) + Module 2 (500cc) = Full Unrestricted Licence
Dont worry we organise everything for you!
Part II Training is now split up into two main areas, first of all your machine control skills are assessed in Module 1, this is an off road test conducted by the Driving Standards agency (DSA) on a Multi Purpose Test Centre (MPTC), the test lasts approx 12 minutes and takes place on a large tarmac area about the size of a football field and consists of both slow speed and higher speed machine control assessments. Passing Module 1 enables you to then sit the Module 2 test conducted by the DSA, which is assesses your ability to ride out in traffic and be able to demonstrate both machine control and roadcraft skills in a test lasting approx 35 minutes. If you pass Module 1 on a 125cc motorcycle, you can only pass your test on a 125cc for Module 2.
For clients aged 21 years and over, the later stages of your training can be completed on a 500cc motorcycle. Passing your test on a 500cc motorcycle will give you a category A licence allowing you to ride any size of motorcycle. Training is flexible to meet your needs with lessons available round the clock, including weekends.
Pro-Scot's Non - Guaranteed Short Course and Super Short Courses are aimed at experienced riders with a full car license.
Our Full Course is a Guaranteed Course, and is aimed at novice riders, provisional car license holders or those who have not ridden for a few years.
In the interests of safety and in accordance with Driving Standards Agency requirements, Pro - Scot reserve the right to prevent a student from proceeding onto the DAS (500cc) machine if they are physically incapable of handling the larger machine or lack sufficient machine control to operate the bike safely. (In these rare instances the training and test would be completed on a 125cc motorcycle)
