What kind of car will my lessons be in?
We have a fleet of brand new eye catching Ford Fiestas, and also Mini Coopers.
Will you pick me up/drop me off at school/college/work?
Yes, we will collect and drop you off from your lessons at a prearranged destination so long as it is within the working area of your specific instructor.
What’s the cancellation procedure?
Please give your instructor as much notice as possible, you may be charged for a cancelled lesson if less than 48 hours notice is given.
How many lessons will I need?
That depends entirely on the individual, some people learn quicker than others. The Driving Standards Agency states that on average a person requires approx 44 hours of professional lessons combined with approx 22 hours of private practice. Your instructor will monitor your progress at the end of each lesson using Pro-Scot's training formula and progress chart, from this you will be able to assess how near test standard you are.
Can I choose to have a female instructor?
Yes, ProScot have female instructors; please check for availability in your area.
What is the hourly lesson duration?
We do 1 hour, 1½ hours and 2 hour lessons.
Do you offer a block booking discount?
Yes if you pay for 10 hours and take them as 2 hour lessons.
