What is Pass Plus Training ?

Pass Plus Training is available during the first year after passing your driving test. It is run by the Driving Standards Agency and is designed to take your driving skills to an even higher standard. It brings with it the added benefit of discounted insurance with participating insurance companies.

With Pass Plus Training, you do not have to take a test at the end of the course. The Driving Standards Agency will issue you with a certificate which you can present to any insurance company involved in the scheme to obtain a discount.

How long will it take ?

Pass Plus Training takes a minimum of 6 hours and is designed to expose you to a wide range of driving situations. Lessons may take place on particularly busy roads, in difficult weather conditions and at night. You will gain valuable experience of driving on different types of roads including motorways, dual carriageways and winding country lanes, especially those where vision is restricted. Pass plus will extend your driving skills and knowledge enabling you to deal with situations you may not have encountered when learning to drive.

Who do I need to contact ?

Pro-Scot has a Pass Plus instructor in your area who will take you through the Pass Plus syllabus. For further information please contact our office or call us on 0800 093 7897.
