    • A Learning to Drive booklet - written by the Pro-Scot Director John MacDonald that enables students prepare for their next driving lesson and recap their previous lesson.
    • The Highway Code
    • The Theory and Hazard Perception CD ROM
    • The DSA Official Theory book for students do not have access to a PC
The Home Study Course requires a £10 refundable deposit.
  2. Pro-Scot Theory Suite & CD ROM
This is a unique and FREE service for Pro-Scot students where they can access the computer suite at the Pro-Scot office Monday to Friday 9:00am till 5:30pm. Students can learn about theory tuition and hazard perception using the latest CD Rom software.
Due to the popularity of this service please phone to book your place.
  3. Two Hour Theory Class
FREE to Pro-Scot students. This classroom based theory course takes place at the Pro-Scot head office. The course gives advice on how to prepare for the combined multiple-choice questions and hazard perception section of the test. The instructors use computer demonstrations and video presentations to develop your knowledge and understanding. This course comes highly recommended by previous successful students especially due to the fact that there is a high national failure rate on the hazard perception test. This is greatly reduced for Pro-Scot students who attend our theory class as we have a 90% pass rate (2005).

Pro-Scot theory classes take place every Tuesday, 6pm - 8pm at the Pro-Scot offices at Randolph Place, Kirkcaldy. Due to the popularity of this service please phone to book your place.
